TEAM OF 40 DELIVER FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND PROJECT ON MELBOURNE METRO TUNNEL [INFOGRAPHIC]

People 2U were selected as the exclusive vendor for the installation of new platform screen doors on the Melbourne Metro Tunnel project, which is part of the broader Big Build Victoria initiative.

Within a short timeframe, People 2U’s recruitment experts strategically shortlisted, presented and inducted over 40 highly skilled employees.

The team, consisting of more than 30 mechanical fitters and over 10 trade assistants, were hand selected to ensure all employees were qualified, licensed and had the experience required to make an immediate impact on site.

Across the 12 month project, the first-of-its-kind in the state, our skilled staff successfully completed the platform screen door installation within the agreed timeframe. The new doors which will be a key feature of the Melbourne Metro Tunnel which is due for completion in 2025.
